The Wine Cellar / Vinification
The centre of the company is its wine cellar.
Within the last 100 years there have been many changes. The oldest part of the cellar with its beautiful arches is used for the storage of oak barrels. Some of them are more than 60 years old.
Another part offers an interesting atmosphere and it is used for different kinds of cultural events. There is a fermenting wine cellar with modern tanks of high quality steel with integrated cooling system. It is possible to handle with more than 100 tons of grapes a day.
In the wine cellar you are able to store 1,8 mil. liter of wine. The winemaker Mr. Sieghard Kugel is responsible for the quality of the grapes and the production of a high quality wine. The preconditions for this job are much competence and creativity.
